We built four distinct sets from the ground up inside a barn in Hastings — including a fully reversible motel exterior that could be flipped to become the interior. The world was shaped by the cinematic stillness of Gregory Crewdson: dreamlike, uneasy, and meticulously constructed down to a custom vending machine bearing its own fictional brand.
